JP just finished the new splash page for Gothtober.com and it is up and ready to welcome you.

Ever go to a drive-in movie theater? Well, that is this year’s Gothtober theme. Driving along the highway in your convertible on a late summer evening, this sign beckons you to pull in, clip the speaker to your window, and get ready to see the spooky double-feature. Don’t forget to swing by the concession stand for some popcorn and hotdogs!

 

Be sure to check out the archive to see what wonders have been produced in past years, as this year’s fun begins on October first.

Updated Gothtober Archives

Yehaah, I have just updated the archives with some new artwork from JP, moving 2008 into the proper position. You will now notice that the archives don’t include links to all of the trick-or-treat items that JP had listed before, because they are now all available on the Trick-or-Treat page right here! I’ve also turned the archive page into just html instead of flash, so that people can navigate it a bit more easily.

 

Sorry for all of you people using IE6, you won’t see the archive properly, but this is the perfect time for you to upgrade!

ramping up for gothtober 2009!

Alrighty, we are now ramping up for 2009, can you believe it, seven years of gothtober!

Part of the changes on the back end has been a move to a more robust blogging platform. While I loved b2evolution several years ago, wordpress has now come out on top. Hopefully this will allow comments without having all of the nasty spam that has plagued blogs for years now.

As JP is getting ready to call for artists, I’m going to be busy working on my piece as well as getting some code ready. woo!
